If there’s one thing we can say with certainty about art fairs, it’s that some aspects of them never change. They can scramble the booths, add new sections, or take up roots in a new location altogether, but no matter what, there are a few recurring sights that you’re always bound to come across: the frantic-looking art advisor, for instance, or the infamous $25 sandwich. The latter is a favorite on Hyperallergic’s art fair bingo card, returning this week to help you get through New York Armory Week. It is both a fun game and a handy conversation-ender if you get stuck in a tortuous conversation with that dealer who keeps name-dropping his artist’s Yale MFA … oh hey, BINGO!
