The eight-month fellowship recognizes an emerging Asian American dance artist whose work shows promise and who may benefit from further professional artistic development. It comes with a $6,000 cash stipend.

Chicago Printmakers Collaborative – 2023 Bloom Residency
Open to women of color, one applicant will be chosen for this two-week, project-based residency in August. It includes a $500 stipend and will culminate in the creation of a limited edition print.

DWeb Fellowship Program
Those who work with decentralized technologies to support marginalized communities can apply for this fellowship, which involves organizing an activity or facilitating a workshop at DWeb Camp in June. It includes a $2,200 stipend plus accommodations.

Galveston Artist Residency
GAR awards three artist-in-residence fellowships a year. For 10 months, from October through July, artists receive 24/7 access to studio space, an apartment nearby, and a monthly stipend of $1,100.

Kala Art Institute – 2023–2024 Kala Fellowship Award
Six artists receive a $3,000 stipend, up to nine months of studio residency, one class in printmaking and/or digital media, and a culminating show. One fellowship is for a veteran and there are several parent artist residencies.

NEH-Mellon Fellowships for Digital Publication
The National Endowment for the Humanities and the Mellon Foundation will support scholars pursuing interpretive research projects requiring digital expression and publication with a maximum of $5,000/month for six to 12 months.

Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program
This year-long residency in New Mexico is solely dedicated to the development of individual artists, who receive a monthly $1,100 stipend to support their practice with no specific project-based requirements. The fee to apply is $25.

Stoneleaf Retreat – Art Mamas Residencies

The American Library in Paris Visiting Fellowship
Artists, writers, and researchers receive $5,000 to work on a book or documentary project in Paris for at least a month while actively participating in the life of the American Library. The application fee is €30.

UrbanGlass – 2023 Visiting Artist and Designer Fellowship
This fellowship provides four artists or designers the opportunity to develop a new work using the medium of glass. Fellows receive studio access, project guidance and technical support, a $2,500 honorarium, and more.

Wassaic Project – Winter Residency
Residents receive 24-hour access to an adaptable, semi-private, 100-ish square-foot studio space in a historic grain elevator. Artists can further apply for fellowships with honorariums and no residency fees. Applications are $25.

Multidisciplinary teams of local, national, or international artists can submit expressions of interest to design, supply and install a large-scale land artwork in Australia’s Dandenong Ranges. Paid commission up to $360,000 AUD ($250,000 USD).

FABnyc – Art Installation to Memorialize the Chrystie Street African Burial Ground

Master Drawings Association – Ricciardi Prize
One scholar under 40 will receive $5,000 for the best new and unpublished article on a drawings topic of any period. Submissions must follow the format of a journal article and may be in any language.

Ortega y Gasset Projects – Open Call for Solo Exhibitions
This open call is for two solo exhibitions to open in September 2023. Both include an opening reception, a $1,000 honorarium for each artist/proposal, and one programmed event.
