Loghaven’s open call for applications runs from June 1 through July 15. Artists in the fields of visual art, dance, theater, writing, music composition, architecture, and interdisciplinary work can apply for residencies occurring in 2024 and 2025.
Loghaven is a retreat-model residency with sessions lasting between two and six weeks. All resident artists are provided a living stipend as well as travel and freight reimbursement. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to submit applications.
Residents have access to beautiful facilities, including the 860-square-foot Visual Arts Studio with specialized equipment and the Performing Arts Studio with a sprung floor. In 2021, Loghaven was awarded the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Architecture Award recognizing excellence in contemporary architecture.
Loghaven seeks to provide residents with a transformative residency experience that fully supports their creative practice. One of the tenets of the program is to build relationships with artists that endure beyond their stay:
This is by far the best residency I have ever attended or known. A haven for artists to contemplate, create, and HEAL. The time, space, moral and financial support, and care that one would receive during this residency are unique and priceless.
Raheleh Filsoofi
I had the mental and emotional space to focus solely on my project. New ideas bloomed and have transformed the directions of my work.
