Cuban artist Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, who remains behind bars at the Guanajay maximum security prison, talks to Claudia Genlui Hidalgo about his latest — and unconventional — project.

Claudia Genlui Hidalgo is an art curator who runs art and social therapy workshops. She was the director of the Galería de Arte Contemporáneo Factoría Habana and is a member of San Isidro Movement and 27N. She has collaborated on projects with Cuban artist Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara as well as MSI, 27N, and other artist groups.
